Spend your time away exploring the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where you’ll discover hidden coves, scenic coastal walking paths and nature reserves. Dine out at a local eatery in the town of Kingsbridge in the evening, or put your feet up in the cosy lounge after cooking a homemade feast.

Step inside and find yourself in the bright and airy, contemporary kitchen/diner with sparkling surface tops, a breakfast bar and a dining table with chairs. Continue into the tranquil lounge with coastal colours, comfortable seating, and smart TV. Upstairs are two bedrooms – a king-size master bedroom or a family room with a double and a single bed. There is also a separate WC plus a bathroom with a WC

Wander into the centre of the market town of Kingsbridge (less than 0.5 miles) for a spot of shopping at the supermarkets or delicatessen or grab a bite to eat at the bakery or cafe. The town is perched on the edge of the Kingsbridge Estuary, which leads down to the picturesque town of Salcombe (6.5 miles), where you’ll find pastel-hued buildings and boats cruising by. On the outskirts of the town is the 1913 National Trust Obverbeck’s Garden (7 miles). Or you can catch a ferry across to Eat Portlemouth Beach (9 miles) and stroll along the coastal path from Mill Bay (10 miles) all the way to Gara Rock beach (11 miles).

This was a lovely little cottage to stay in for the week. Modern interior, very clean, and a quick walk to the nearby high street which had most shops you'd want / need. Don't be put off by the lack of garden, there is a small park directly opposite the house only a few steps away which was useful for those evening toilet trips for the dog. We wereRead more concerned about the lack of parking however we alternated between the few on street parking spaces directly outside the house, and the small car park next to the park opposite the house, and we always managed to find a space throughout our stay. Lovely property, spacious and comfortable. We knew there wasnt parking however thought there would be more free street parking available so the cost of parking at the car park opposite needs to be taken into account, if you can get a space on there! Could do with a better vacuum cleaner especially when having a dog and visiting local beaches. WoulRead mored definitely return to property again though and highly recommend for central location in Kingsbridge. Hide
