Very quiet and secluded Lodge. Perfect for a romantic getaway. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the beautiful views and the quaint town of Lostwithiel was a nice 45 minute walk away. A real home from home. In a nice tucked away location still close enough to amenities should you need to pop out to a shop in the car. Host was extremely welcoming and helpful during our visit.

An excellent base for exploring the Lostwithiel area of Cornwall. While it is in the 'back of beyond' but easy walking distance to Lanhydrock House through beautiful woodland. Helmand Tor is within walking distance. Perhaps not ideal if you just want to stay in one place - this is not high luxury, but is in a great setting. Very disappointed with the cottage/lodge. Not enough heating in the lounge area and the there was no room in the bedroom at all.
