Located 3 miles from the market town of Aylsham and surrounded by Norfolk countryside, is this pretty, two-bedroom property. This is a great holiday retreat for a couple or small family and two hounds, and is perfectly placed for those looking to enjoy long walks and activities on the River Bure.

Whitewashed walls, wood-panelled flooring, and pleasant furnishings sweep through this stylish, single-storey barn conversion, creating a relaxing atmosphere. After a long day exploring, sink into the lounge sofa with a well-earned drink in hand and catch up on your favourite TV programme. When it comes to mealtimes, a well-equipped kitchen overlooks the lounge so you can be part of the conversation while you rustle up dinner. Serve it at the neat dining table seating four people and while you eat, open the glass doors and let Rover and Fido roam in the garden. A king-size and super-king-size bedroom is located at either end of the property, and both boast ample storage space and countryside views. Outside, a huge lawn is perfect for a game of fetch. A gravel area complete with garden furniture is also a good spot for al fresco dining.

The River Bure is less than 0.5 miles away and is excellent for kayaking and also a good spot for morning or evening walks with your hound. But for more adventurous pups, head to Wroxham (9 miles). Here, you can jump on a boat and explore the Norfolk Broads from the water. Further afield, there’s Cromer Beach (13 miles) where Fido will love feeling the sand between his paws. Afterwards, stop at the canine-friendly cafe where you’ll find menus for both humans and hounds or closer to home, there are plenty of dog-friendly restaurants in Aylsham.

  • 2 bedrooms - 1 king-size and 1 super king-size zip-and-link (can be made into a twin on request)

Stunning location, situated in a quite village on a farm yet a perfect base to explore Norfolk and its beaches. Cottage was immaculately clean, very comfortable and spacious and perfect for our family of 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. The spacious bedrooms are situated either side of the main living area with a bathroom each, so perfect for familiesRead more or couples. The cottage has a huge garden which the kids and dogs loved. The owners made us feel most welcome and were on hand if we needed anything, we were also very lucky to stay at lambing time and had a guided tour of the barns to see the sheep and the cows, the children loved seeing the newborn lambs and calves! Finally we have found a holiday cottage we would return to! Highly recommend this holiday cottage! Hide

We used this cottage as a base for a family Christmas. It was well equipped and Beth and Jason made sure we had a great stay - they even replaced a broken television on Christmas Eve. It was a nice touch to have fizz and wine; tea, coffee and bread. Thank you
