There is also a family shower room, back down the steps, off the hall. Take your delighted dog for a run round the grounds in the morning. Have coffee, or even breakfast, in front of your cottage.

We loved every minute and will definitely be back. There are so many wonderful places to visit within a short distance. Highlights included Arundel Castle, Petworth House, Deer Park and Town, Nymans House, gardens and woodland walk.

The cottage was quite okay (beds, living room, kitchen), but the shower was small. When you sat on the terrace outside, there was quite some traffic noice. There were some nice walks on the estate and we were able to visit polo games, which was nice.

Beautiful quiet location. Bungalow very comfortable and lots of little touches, tea, coffee, sugar and toiletries in bathrooms . Would recommend it as also in a good location to visit Petworth House. Our daughters dog loved the walks through the fields.

Wonderful location with walks directly from the cottage. Heathend was very comfortable, a real home from home. Everything was provided that you would need, all you need bring are your personal items. The welcome pack was very much appreciated and of high quality. I cannot recommend this place more highly. We hope to return soon.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful quiet area, with lovely walks especially if you have a dog. Just a few minutes drive from little place midhurst, cowdray farm shop and cafe. What more could you ask for. The cottage was very warm, I'm not sure if it's double insulated, that was only thing about it,a bit to warm especially for our retriever. But would dRead moreefinitely book again. The little touch of the hamper was lovely too. Would definitely recommend. Hide

From the moment we turned off the A272 and drove past Benbow Pond, it felt like we were on a film set. It was all so very perfect, from the fact that the inside lights had been turned on to welcome us, to the real Christmas tree (!) and the incredible scenery, everything about Heathland cottage was wonderful. I loved to look out of the bathroom winRead moredow across the fields whilst I brushed my teeth. The fact that you can walk for miles straight from the front door was the icing on the cake! Hide

A very comfortable and warm autumnal stay at Heathend. The cottage is spacious enough for three people and very well presented and equipped for short stays. Location of the cottage is perfect for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside and historic towns in this part of Sussex. Highly recommend a stay here.
