Nestled on the fringes of the Lincolnshire Wolds, this comfortable property is top dog for families and small groups. Two pampered pups and up to four humans can embrace the great outdoors then relax in style with al fresco meals in the shared garden during a stay at this retreat. You’ll have over 6 acres of shared grounds to explore including a picnic area with a BBQ, but the true treat for waggy-tailed visitors is the exercise paddock that has ample space for Fido to play.

Scamper inside and discover a welcome pack of goodies complete with treats for Rover. The open-plan living space has a contemporary-style kitchen that’s equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. The breakfast bar provides a stylish space to share a coffee or dine, and there are sofas and a TV for snuggling up and catching your favourite shows. Hose down muddy paws in the shower room then take your pick of the two bedrooms, one king-size zip-and-link bed and a double. Outside, the shared gardens await with lawn near the cottage and a further 6 acres of rural space to explore. There is off-road parking.

Set your sights on the coast and spot seals from a safe vantage point at Donna Nook (13.5 miles). This dog-friendly shoreline has many other excellent beaches such as Humberston Fitties (13.5 miles) and Moggs Eye (25 miles). The nearest market town is charming Louth, a haven for foodies 3.5 miles away thanks to the vast selection of weekly markets, speciality shops and produce stores selling a variety of gastronomic delights. The Lincolnshire Wolds themselves are fantastic for adventures whether you have four legs or two, and be sure to factor in a visit to Hubbard’s Hills 4 miles away for picnics and a paddle.

Great Cottage with everything we needed and more. Perfect it accepted dogs. The dog field was a fab addition and dog proof gardens per cottage. The owner was there when we arrived and very helpful advising where things were ie bins and supermarkets close by. The cottage provided a spare bin bag. Dishwasher tablets. Kitchen roll and a welcome baskeRead moret with cake, biscuits, tea and coffee. The only thing we didnt consider going the end of March was the constant bird scarers. You couldnt hear them in the cottage and they didnt bother us adults but our dog was so scared we could t take her on the beautiful walks directly from the cottage it will go back another time of the year as the place was perfect. Great host, brilliant for dog owners as there are 3 fields to walk in, let alone the wolds are quite literally over the road. Great location for Louth facilities, walks in the woods or hills of the wolds. About an hour to quiet beaches, great for long walks and doggies adventures.
