Treat yourselves to a group holiday near Hanworth in North Norfolk and take your best canine friend along with you for the fun. This spacious, five-bedroom retreat sleeps ten guests and will also welcome your happy hound with open paws. With countryside and coastal walks close by, plus a generous garden to chase about in, he’ll be in hound dog heaven throughout his stay.

Let yourselves into the modern red-brick cottage to find it has an open-plan design to suit pets and people. The heart of the holiday home is the lounge/kitchen/diner/garden room, where you can gather together, relax in the warmth of the wood burner and watch the TV/DVD while your delighted dog keeps you company. On warm days, open the doors from the vaulted garden room so you can all wander outside. Prepare tasty meals in the kitchen area and sit down to lively meals around the table. A super-king-size bedroom, which can also be arranged as a twin if discussed in advance, can also be found downstairs, together with a wet room. Throw a ball for your delighted dog out in the garden and dine out here during fine weather, soaking up the countryside scenery around you. There is storage for bicycles here.

Venture 4 miles from the house to take your happy hound for a good long walk in the parkland grounds of the National Trust’s Felbrigg Hall. Very comfortable with high level of equipment, property manager Caroline dealt with a problem we had very quickly and efficiently. Property a little isolated.

Hob proved tricky to use, kept turning off! Slight problem with sink plug, but despite these little problems, lovely house, fabulous location despite twisty roads leading into village, a lovely weekend, we hope to return.

Woodside is a large, well appointed.modern property that we found as a group of 10 of 3 generations of family very comfortable. Very quietly situated ( satnav useful to find it- especially in dark!) but convenient for local attractions & coast. We visited Cromer, Overstrand, Mundesley. Holt & Felbrigg Hall.
