This idyllic Welsh retreat enjoys a remote location on the Gower Peninsula, high above the dramatic Hunts Bay. Sleeping four guests and one waggy-tailed companion, the property makes a great base for adventure-loving couples or families with older children. The Wales Coast Path passes close by, offering truly breathtaking views, and you’ll be within easy reach of woof-friendly beaches such as Three Cliffs Bay (2 miles).
The stylish stone cottage is decorated in a contemporary style and boasts far-reaching coastal views through its large picture windows. The ground floor is home to a bright, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with bi-fold doors to enjoy indoor/outdoor living. In one corner is a sleek kitchen for preparing tasty meals, which you can share at the dining table under the window. In the evenings, fire up the wood burner to create a cosy dozing spot for the pup and sink into one of the plump sofas to watch the Smart TV. A feature staircase leads to the first floor, where you’ll find a gorgeous double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom – a twin - is in a separate annexe, along with an en-suite shower room, kitchenette, and games room. Outside, soak up the scenery in the garden, tucking into an al fresco supper on a summer’s night. This space is fully enclosed for your canine buddy. The property is reached via the owner’s driveway, and private parking is provided for two cars.
