Located in the heart of Reepham, a historic Norfolk town, this cosy two-bedroom cottage provides a relaxing base for couples or small families holidaying with their dog. It sits along The Moor, one of the town’s most historic areas, within easy reach of Reepham’s welcoming shops, pubs, cafés and restaurants (0.5 miles). With its attractive streets and buildings dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries, the town has plenty of character and makes a lovely place to wander with your four-legged companion. You’ll also be excellently placed for exploring the surrounding countryside by foot and by paw.
On arrival, you’ll climb a couple of steps up to the front door and into the inviting lounge/diner. Here, comfortable seating, a Smart TV and a feature brick fireplace create a snug place to unwind with your pets after a day out. A dining table by the window makes a pleasant spot for shared meals, while the compact kitchen sits just beyond. Upstairs, reached via cottage-style staircase, you’ll find a bathroom and two king-size bedrooms, one of which can be arranged as a twin on request. Outside, the enclosed back garden has an artificial grass lawn and a small patio area with outdoor furniture and soft string lighting – a lovely place for tucking into al fresco meals while your four-legged friend sniffs around nearby. Roadside parking is available for one car, with an additional free car park in the town (0.5 miles).
When it’s time to explore, the Marriott’s Way leads to Whitwell and Reepham Railway Station (1.5 miles), where heritage steam trains and a café make a fun stop along the route. Head to local beauty spots like Buxton Heath (6 miles) for lovely walks in nature. For a change of scenery, the sandy beaches at Cromer and Sheringham are within 20 miles and perfect for breezy seaside walks (please check for dog restrictions in summer).
