Treat the whole gang to a getaway at this lovely detached holiday home perched on top of a hill in the fishing village of Polruan – just 0.5 miles from the South West Coast Path. Sleeping six people across three bedrooms and welcoming two canine companions, it's perfect for families or groups of friends in search of an inviting hideaway to call home while they explore Cornwall’s breathtaking coast with their dogs. Follow the path to the River Fowey (0.5 miles) and take your pubs on the ferry to the opposite bank, where an array walking trails and dog-friendly pubs await. In the evening, come home to share a fun BBQ feast on your cottage’s patio while your faithful friends play in the enclosed space.
Step inside and make yourself at home in the large, light-filled lounge. When it’s time to eat, cook up a storm in the bright and cheerful kitchen/diner and share your meal at the table by the floor-to-ceiling patio doors. Alternatively, head out onto the patio, fire up a BBQ and enjoy a casual al fresco dinner while your pups play in the enclosed space. Afterwards, enjoy movie night in the lounge – there’s plenty of space for everyone. At the end of the day, retreat to one of three lovely bedrooms - two doubles (one with an en-suite with shower) and a twin. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the interior layout. There’s also private parking available for two cars. Set off on a stroll along the coast to the sheltered cover at Readymoney (1 mile), where dogs are welcome outside the main summer months (typically July and August). Or follow the scenic coastal path down to Lantic Bay (2.5 miles) to admire the sweeping sea views – just keep your pups on-lead as there’s sometimes livestock.
