Alternatively, head inland to explore the North York Moors National Park.
The first-floor apartment is bursting with personality and charm, with beautifully preserved period features sitting alongside vibrant paintwork and quirky accessories. On the upper level, reached via a few steps, is an inviting lounge with a striking, curved ceiling and sea views through the original sash windows. Unwind here, with a good book or your favourite show on the Smart TV, whilst Rover dozes on the rug. On the lower level is a sleek kitchen where you can rustle up dinners for two to share at the breakfast bar under the window. Upstairs, you’ll find an inviting double bedroom and a refreshing bathroom. Due to the property’s central location, there is no designated outside space. However, with the beach on your doorstep, and easy access to the coast path, you’ll have plenty of choice when it comes to morning walkies. Parking is available in a nearby public car park.
Scarborough is a vibrant coastal town with a great range of woof-friendly places to eat. Enjoy clifftop walks with the woofer from the town, or wander around the lakes and amongst the floral displays in one of the public parks. A trip to Scarborough isn’t complete without a visit to the dramatic castle ruins, followed by a walk around the headland. Scarborough’s main beach has seasonal dog restrictions. However, just 3 miles along the coast is Cayton Bay, a wide, sandy stretch that welcomes hounds all year.
