Property code: OC-G34917

Located in a sought-after corner of North Cornwall, this beautifully converted barn makes a fantastic base for beach days and adventures with your four-pawed pal. Positioned between Trevone Bay and Harlyn Bay (both around 1 mile), and just 2 miles from the ever-popular Padstow, you’ll have much to explore right on your doorstep.

Inside, the barn has been thoughtfully styled with high-quality finishes and a contemporary coastal feel. The main living area sits on the first floor, making the most of far-reaching countryside views. With high, beamed ceilings and large windows, it’s a bright and welcoming place to spend time together after a day out with your furry friend. The kitchen is sleek and well-equipped, with plenty of room for preparing meals, while a circular dining table sits nearby beside a Juliet balcony framing the view. A wood burner adds a cosy touch to the lounge area, where comfortable seating and a Smart TV create a great spot for evenings in with your loyal hound curled up in front of the fire. Both bedrooms are located on the ground floor: a generous double and a bunk room suited to children or additional guests. These are served by a stylish family shower room with distinctive wooden panelling and a walk-in shower. Outside, there’s a private rear patio with outdoor furniture and a BBQ, providing a lovely place to sit with a drink while your four-legged companion rests nearby. Guests also have access to a shared lawned area for a bit of extra room for ball games. Private parking for up to two cars completes this coastal retreat.

Padstow’s bustling harbour, excellent seafood spots and independent shops make it a great place to wander, while the nearby Camel Trail provides miles of traffic-free routes – great for cycling or long walks with your canine pal trotting alongside. From St Merryn (1 mile), you can discover the stunning Trevose Head Heritage Coast, home to the famous ‘Seven Bays for Seven Days’ – a collection of beautiful beaches just waiting to be sniffed out via the South West Coast Path.

We had the best time at the granary. It was incredibly easy to book, and access once we arrived. It is impeccably decorated, and so comfortable. It was so close to amazing beaches, and was perfect for a family holiday. Would definitely recommend.
