Your four-pawed pal will have a ball coming home to this lovingly furnished, family-friendly getaway located in the Georgian market town of Bewdley after an adventure exploring Worcestershire and the Wyre Forest.

Hang up the leash in the entrance hallway before leading the way into the lounge, which enjoys elegant, contemporary décor and the warmth of a roaring wood burner. Leave your four-pawed pal to doze on the hearth, and unwind on the plush sofa, or head into the adjoining kitchen/diner to whip up some tasty treats. During the summer months, throw open the patio doors to the garden to dine amongst the whistle of the evening breeze. When it’s time to pause from chasing your tail, retire upstairs to freshen up in the sophisticated bathroom before a good night’s sleep. There are three bedrooms on offer, two doubles, and one single, that share the same tail-wagging charm as the ground floor. Playful pups can let off some steam running around the lawn in the large, enclosed garden, which also boasts a patio and summerhouse, perfect for entertaining. There is private parking for one car, with on-street parking subject to availability.

Set on the banks of the River Severn, Bewdley is the gateway to the Wyre Forest, where you’ll find fabulous walks that your canine companion will go mutts for. From listed buildings, shops and eateries, there is lots to explore as you wander around Bewdley town centre, including beautiful Jubilee Gardens. Hop on the Severn Valley Steam Railway from Bewdley Station (1 mile) with your canine companion to ride through the Worcestershire countryside. Take the lead to the market town of Kidderminster (4.5 miles) to enjoy soothing strolls along the canal before sniffing out some fabulous local produce from its array of independent shops, cafes and restaurants.

Emma was very helpful and ensured we knew how to find and access the house, including enabling us to arrive early due to train times during the SVR Gala weekend. Lovely property. Great attention to detail as regards furnishings and accessories. Everything that we required was provided. Parking for one car. Bewdley within walking distance but there is a very steep hill to negotiate. Not a problem as we always took the car. Bewdley central for so many locations. Welcome goodies much appreciated. Really close to the town centre, so dog walks along the River Severn totally convenient, without having to use the car. We loved the enclosed garden - great for our pooches; safe and practical. Exceptionally clean and super comfy beds. The goodies on arrival were very welcome and appreciated.

The weekend was exactly as we hoped. Close to the Town, so we were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to visit; the Severn Valley Railway, the Museum and Town and we also had a meal at the Mug House (highly recommend). The street we were in was very quiet and all the residents we met were friendly. The hosts were very thoughtful and approachable.Read more Hide
