Excellent location and very well equipped. Parking is a bonus, especially with being in the centre of the village. Only a couple of minutes stroll to shops and local pubs, although you wouldnt know it, as the cottage is in a quiet lane. We have stayed twice and would definitely stay again.

Lovely cottage to stay in. Very comfortable and well furnished and equipped. Whilst being within a couple of minutes of the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water, it was very quiet and peaceful. Parking space outside is tight but OK for one vehicle. We definitely stay here again.

The Pear Tree Cottage is a very charming holiday home, perfectly located in Bourton-on-the-Water on a quiet street, with the main tourist highlights and a well-stocked supermarket just a few minutes away. The garden is well enclosed, making it ideal for guests travelling with a dog. The kitchen is well equipped, and on arrival, Nespresso capsulesRead more, tea and milk were provided, which made for a warm welcome. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, the heating works quickly, and there is sufficient hot water to use the showers simultaneously. If five people are seated at the dining table, the surrounding space does feel quite limited. The parking space is small, but as the street is a cul-de-sac, it is not an issue if the car extends slightly onto the road. We charged the car overnight at the parking just past Birdland Park & Gardens (free parking between 18:00 and 08:00). A walk to Upper and Lower Slaughter is absolutely fantastic, and thanks to the central location, you can easily leave the car aside for a few days and explore the area on foot. This was our first holiday in the UK, and we will definitely be back! Hide
