Bring your best friend along for an unforgettable getaway in the Scottish Highlands, staying on the outskirts of Nairn (2.5 miles) and enjoying the scenic tranquillity of the coast. Entirely dog-friendly, this handsome holiday home welcomes one four-pawed companion alongside up to four human guests, making it an ideal choice for small families or couples seeking a little extra space. A large, lawned garden offers a secure place for Rover to roam, while each day’s adventure can begin and end in the peaceful village of Auldearn – simply pop Fido on the lead and start exploring.

Wellbeing is woven into every detail of this neatly decorated two-storey stone cottage. Step inside and let your pup find the perfect spot to curl up in the inviting lounge/diner. A warming wood burner keeps toes and paws cosy late into the evening while you relax on the sofa and your furry companion settles at your heel. Next door, the spacious and practical kitchen leads directly out to the large rear garden, fully enclosed and wonderfully pet-friendly, complete with a furnished patio and generous lawn space for ball games. Upstairs, two bedrooms - a king-size and a single with a pull-out bed - sit alongside a refreshing shower room.

Dog-welcoming beaches and beautiful nature trails are plentiful nearby, so pack tennis balls and dog treats for full days outdoors. Explore Culbin Forest (7 miles), following the Hill 99 Trail through towering trees and mossy glades to the stunning Viewpoint Tower. Lovely cottage, well appointed with a good garden space too. Easy street parking right outside the cottage and a welcoming bistro/pub within easy walking distance. Good location for accessing places of interest by car. Very enjoyable week.
