Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life at this lovely property sitting on the stunning Holkham Estate in the picturesque village of Holkham, ideal for couples, families and up to two four-legged pals. The property is a tranquil base from which to explore the North Norfolk coast. Spend a lovely day discovering Holkham itself, where your pups can go mutts along the sandy beach and enjoy splashing in the sea.

Step inside this delightful Holkham Estate cottage and watch your hounds pick out their favourite spot in the welcoming lounge area. The light, neutral palette and contemporary country-style decor create a warm, homely ambience in which to unwind. Relax on the comfortable seating by the wood burner and in the evening watch a movie on the Smart TV. When it’s time to eat, head to the chic open-plan kitchen/diner to rustle up some of your favourite dishes to share at the dining table. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances to make meal preparation a breeze. There are two beautifully-styled bedrooms – a king-size and a double – served by a smart family shower room. To the front of the cottage lies a lovely garden and a patio area, complete with outdoor furniture. To the rear of the cottage is a garden for your pups to stretch their legs. Private parking is available for one car.

Sheringham Park (18.5 miles) is the perfect place to let your pups sniff out an adventure walking through parkland, woodland and along the cliff tops. For something more leisurely, head into Wells-next-the-Sea (2 miles) to stroll along the bustling harbour and take some snapshots by its colourful beach huts. All the family will enjoy a day discovering the activities and beautiful scenery on offer at Holt Country Park (14.5 miles).

The location of Clerk's Cottage is perfect - easy walking distance to the Deer Park, The Victoria, and Holkham Beach - and a short drive to Wells. There's a very small amount of traffic on the road (in and out of the Holkham Park) then 5pm onwards it is beautifully peaceful with almost no cars going by. The cottage is reasonably well equipped althoRead moreugh the bedrooms are a little small. Also the beds and the lounge sofa are unfortunately not the most comfortable. Hide
