A thoughtfully decorated and furnished cottage with a courtyard garden situated in the market town of Sedbergh, where you can escape the hustle and bustle for a relaxing break with your family of six. Two canine companions are welcome here too, as no break is complete without your dog.
Step inside the welcoming lounge, which has plenty of comfortable seating and a wood burner where you can keep your toes and paws warm. The cottage-style kitchen has plenty of storage and surface space, and a large range oven for easy home-cooked meals. A six-seater kitchen table provides a great spot for planning your days ahead while enjoying breakfast. A handy downstairs WC is also provided. When the night draws in, climb to the first floor where there are two bedrooms, a twin and a single, which share a chic family bathroom boasting a sumptuous roll-top bath, and a walk-in shower. The top floor contains a double bedroom and another single, providing flexible sleeping arrangements, whatever your group make up. Outside, a lovely courtyard garden provides a pleasant spot for morning coffees or evening tipples while the dogs soak up the sun. On-street parking is available for one car.
Nestled within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, you will find plenty to keep everyone entertained. The town itself has some lovely dog-friendly pubs and cafes, along with access to the scenic Howgill Fells with its abundance of walking routes. You will also be close to the fringes of the Lake District with the cultural market town of Kendal, 10 miles away, and the shores of Lake Windermere, 20 miles away.
