With an enclosed dog paddock and direct access to 250 acres of farm land and footpaths, this modern cabin is the ideal destination for happy hounds who love to stretch their legs all day. The perfect size for couples or small families, it has panoramic views, a sociable living space and all mod cons provided.
The purpose-build lodge is full of light and has a roomy entrance hall where you can hang leads. Follow your hounds into the open-plan interior, where large windows connect you to the outside world. Comfortable sofas face the enticing views and, when you draw the curtains, you’re ready for a cosy evening with a movie on the Smart TV, your canine pals at your feet. The kitchen area caters easily for shared meals, including a microwave and a dishwasher, and there’s room for celebratory feasts or board-game evenings around the dining table. When your four-pawed friends have settled down to sleep, head to the two inviting bedrooms — a double and a twin, which share a spacious shower room. French doors lead onto a raised deck furnished for outdoor dining, complete with a BBQ and boasting far-reaching views. Steps descend to the surrounding grounds, which guests are welcome to explore (dogs on leads near livestock, of course). Private parking for two cars is included, and you may also make use of the enclosed dog paddock.
Surrounded by beautiful countryside criss-crossed with superb walks, the lodge is 1.5 miles from the Cotswold Way and 2 miles from Coaley Peak, from which there are spectacular views. Take a picnic to the Sharpness Viewpoint, 9.5 miles, or head to the National Arboretum at Westonbirt where there are around 400 acres that furry pals can explore, on-lead on The Downs and off the lead in Silk Wood.
