Escape with your special someone to this superb glamping cabin in a complex of ten quirky cabins just 1 mile outside Hartland. Sleeping four people in one bedroom and welcoming two canine companions, it’s perfect for adventurous couples or families who are dreaming of sharing a fun glamping experience with their pups in North Devon. Wake up and set off for walkies around the grounds at Hartland Abbey. In the afternoon, head into the village, where you’ll find a good mix of dog-friendly cafes and pubs. In the evening, come home to your cabin to cook up a feast at the shared BBQ pit. Guests can also pre-book exclusive access to the hydrotherapy Wild Spa hot tub and chill out area (charges apply).
From your private parking spot, head into your handcrafted glamping cabin. You’ll be welcomed by an open-plan space that consists of a cosy living space and a welcoming sleeping area. Fully insulated, double-glazed and heated, your cabin has been designed with comfort and style in mind. When it’s time to eat, head to the kitchenette area to rustle up some dinner, or make your way to the shared BBQ area to cook up a feast that you can bring back to your cabin’s private decked area. After dinner, relax with a glass of wine while you take in the lake views and your pups snooze at your feet. At the end of the day, retire in your cabin’s king-size bed. There’s also a bunk bed that’s perfect if you have kids with you. A handy en-suite shower room completes the layout. When you wake up in the morning, head down to the site’s lake to enjoy a spot of fishing.
Set off for walkies at Hartland Quay (3.5 miles), and you’ll be rewarded with views of towering cliffs and crashing waves. Or head into the gorgeous village of Clovelly (6 miles) – just remember that your dogs must remain on their leads.
