The traditional cottage sleeps eight humans and four hounds, and is perfect for adventure-loving families and friends. Enjoy scenic walks with the woofers from your front door, or pick up the long-distance Pennine Way just 4 miles away. Alternatively, sit back, relax, and take in the scenery aboard the heritage trains of the South Tynedale Railway.
The charming limestone cottage carefully combines original features, such as beamed ceilings and stone walls, with contemporary touches and an array of creature comforts. After a long walk, unwind in the gorgeous lounge, where a collection of comfortable seating is set around a Smart TV and a cosy wood burner which the pack will adore. The separate kitchen is equipped with everything needed for a self-catering break, and opens onto an elegant dining room. Completing the ground floor is a stunning king-size bedroom and a stylish wet room. The remaining bedrooms, all with a unique style, are upstairs, along with the family bathroom. To the rear of the house is an enclosed courtyard for al fresco dining in summer months, and to the front is a large lawn where the hounds can burn off steam. The property has on-street parking, subject to availability.
Nenthead is a quaint former industrial village and is a great base for outdoor adventure.
