Sleeping 10 guests, the exquisite, five-bedroom farmhouse offers sumptuous accommodation, plus an outdoor swimming pool and a hot tub. Situated at Middle Halsway, 12 miles from Taunton, the Grade II-listed, dog-friendly hideaway also benefits from 11-acre grounds to keep Rover’s tail wagging throughout his stay.

Wander inside to be wowed by the abundant space, beauty and country house style. Choose between two gorgeous, beamed lounges when it comes to relaxing with Rover and spending time with your human loved ones. Light a roaring wood burner in one or watch the Smart TV in either. The airy kitchen/diner, a step up from one of the lounges, is also a fabulous space for quality time together. Prepare delicious dishes with Somerset produce, then dine at the table. Feed Rover here too, then let him amble out into the summer sunshine via the French windows. A utility room/gym adjoins the kitchen/diner. One of your bedrooms, a double, with an en-suite shower room and kitchenette, is also downstairs, while the other four are on the floor above. These include two doubles and two king-sizes, one with a fabulous en-suite bathroom. A family shower room and a separate WC are also upstairs. Take Rover out to explore the extensive grounds at every opportunity. Light the firepit, cook on the BBQ, dip in the pool during the warmer months, or wallow in the hot tub any time. There is ample off-road parking.

Step straight out to follow footpaths and trails across the rolling Quantock Hills. Exmoor, with its exceptional dog walks, is 5 miles away. Kilve Beach, 8 miles away, is a favourite with pet-lovers as it welcomes dogs all year round.

A lovely quirky farmhouse with a beautiful garden and extensive grounds . We enjoyed the heated swimming pool and the spa.
