During your stay, why not explore part of the 84-mile Hadrian’s Wall Path? The coast-to-coast route passes through a wide variety of terrain, from rugged moorland to majestic rolling hills. You can join it anywhere, but it starts in Wallsend, just over 30 miles away. Northumberland Coast is also within touring distance. Head to Seahouses, 27 miles away, where you’ll find golden sand and a great selection of cosy pubs that welcome four-pawed guests with open arms.
