Tucked in a secluded spot surrounded by fields, this stunning holiday getaway offers magical views of Ingleborough and the Yorkshire Dales countryside. Sleeping six guests and welcoming two canine companions, it’s the ideal base for families or groups of friends who love walking and nature spotting. After days exploring forests, waterfalls, caves and dales, you’ll love returning here for BBQs in the garden and cosy evenings by the wood burner.
Set on a working farm with a handful of other holiday properties, this holiday retreat blends traditional charm with contemporary comforts. The expansive lounge boasts a double-height ceiling, exposed stone walls and wooden beams. Sink into comfortable sofas while your pups curl up by the roaring wood burner or throw open patio doors to let the fresh air in. The bright and inviting kitchen/diner has all the essentials for feeding hungry humans and hounds, and a farmhouse-style dining table. There’s a beautiful ground-floor double bedroom with its own en-suite wet room, offering a convenient sleeping space. Six steps lead down to a lower level, where there’s a charming twin, a cosy bunk room with full-size bunk beds, and a family bathroom. Both bathrooms feature underfloor heating. Outside, an enclosed patio garden provides a safe spot for your four-legged friends to potter about while you sip a drink, fire up the BBQ, or simply soak up the views. Ample off-road parking is available.
Set around a mile from the centre of Ingleton, you can wander into the village for shops, pubs and cafes or join the famous Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, which starts around a mile from your door. White Scar Caves (2.5 miles) offers an atmospheric underground adventure (though dogs can’t go in the cave). Dogs on leads can visit Ingleborough Cave (6 miles), and they’ll love sniffing out the trails at the nearby Forest of Bowland (from 5 miles).
