This welcoming detached cottage is ideal for families or friends looking to bring two hounds for a peaceful escape to explore the delights of the Lake District National Park. The property is located on the outskirts of the quiet village of Underbarrow, surrounded by scenic countryside criss-crossed with walking and cycling routes. Kendal, known as the gateway to the Lakes, is 3.5 miles, offering plenty of choice for places to eat and drink, as well as the chance to explore the medieval castle ruins.

Downstairs, follow your pups through into the attractive kitchen/diner, with its large table set under stylish lights, providing a perfect space for celebratory meals. The attractive farmhouse kitchen includes all the necessary appliances to make meal preparation a breeze. In the lounge, relax on the soft seating for chatting or steal away with a book to the reading nook. With the Smart TV, you can binge on your favourite box sets. Alternatively, leave no stick unfetched along the trails of Grizedale Forest (16.5 miles).

Lovely property - fabulous gardens surrounding the house, totally safe for the dog. Very comfortable beds. Property well equipped, full size fridge/freezer which is very useful. Gorgeous views out of the front bedroom windows. Would stay here again.
