This brick and flint hideaway sits amongst the Norfolk countryside, 2 miles from Happisburgh. The property sleeps four humans and three hounds and has a whole host of woof-themed extras, including dog beds, towels, treats, and toys. You’ll be 2 miles from a sandy, paw-friendly beach, and there are some excellent woof-welcoming attractions nearby, such as the National Trust’s Blickling Hall (13 miles).
The converted barn has been decorated in a contemporary style and boasts far-reaching countryside views. The main living space is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with ample space for you and the hounds to spread out. Prepare delicious feasts in the sleek kitchen area, before coming together at the dining table for an evening of good food and laughter. Afterwards, get cosy on one of the sofas to watch the Smart TV or play a game with the family, whilst your waggy-tailed pals doze at your feet. In summer, throw open the bi-fold doors so the pack can potter in and out to the courtyard. The property has two stylish king-size bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room. A refreshing family bathroom completes the accommodation. Outside, the enclosed courtyard has furniture for al fresco dining and a fabulous five-seater hot tub. You’ll also have access to a shared paddock where the pups can play. The cottage has ample private parking.
Journey into Happisburgh to enjoy a long walk with the hounds along the sandy, secluded beach or stride out along one of the clifftop footpaths. Whilst here, be sure to check out the iconic red and white lighthouse, the oldest working lighthouse in Britain. Happisburgh forms part of the Deep History Coast, making it a fantastic spot for fossil hunting. Further afield, take a day trip to the colourful seaside resort of Mundesley (8 miles) or head inland to explore the picturesque waterways of the Broads.
