Located in the charming village of Seatoller, in the idyllic Borrowdale Valley, is this comfortable three-bedroom property. With easy access to fells and Derwentwater Lake, it’s the perfect holiday retreat for a small group and two hounds wanting tranquillity and outdoor adventure.

Wooden beams, high-vaulted ceilings, and stylish decor combine to create a relaxing and inviting space. After a day of exploring, kick off boots and wipe muddy paws in the cloakroom before heading down a few steps to the contemporary kitchen. Huge floor-to-ceiling glass doors drench this room in light and while you whip up a delicious meal, Fido can stretch out on the floor and gaze at the mountain views. Dine in style at the elegant table, then head upstairs to the first-floor lounge and relax on the sofa with a film. As darkness falls, sleepy heads can choose between a king-size bed and a snug twin room. There’s also an en-suite king-size bedroom on the ground floor. All the rooms are light and airy, and you’ll be sure of a good night’s rest. Although there is no outdoor space, you and your pup can enjoy delightful valley walks straight from the door.

Pull on your walking boots and explore the surrounding landscape with your four-legged pal. Your pup will love clambering over the heather-clad fells at Dale Head (2 miles), Great Gable (4 miles), and Scafell Pike (6 miles). For a more leisurely day out, head to Derwentwater Lake (5.5 miles). Here, Fido can run along the shore or hop on a boat and soak up the stunning views from the water. After a day’s activity, be sure to stop in neighbouring Keswick for a bite to eat at one of the many dog-friendly pubs and restaurants.

Absolutely great place to stay we go back year after year as its perfect for us. Walks straight from the Barn & buses just a few yards away to take you either to Keswick or up the Honister Pass. We love the location but one thing to bear in mind if youre thinking of taking your dog there is no garden here & the road can be busy at times.

Great location, however if visiting with dogs, be mindful - as you will need to take them out on the lead as it is a dangerous road outside and no garden. Walks are lovely surrounding the cottage. Pub across the road was lovely - very convenient.

Really nice comfortable stay! Decent kitchen and comfortable living room and bedrooms, worked really well with having the dogs, with access to many walking routes, a bus to Keswick literally just down the Road and a really nice pub just across from the house, with a few others a short walk away. Decent Wifi as phone signal is touch and go around soRead moreme of the Lakes. House is quite close to the main road but it is relatively quiet most of the day. This is a lovely property let down by it's downstairs bedroom which has no window covering or storage. Easy to sort out but I would check it had been before booking again.

A beautiful barn conversion in the lovely hamlet of Borrowdale Valley. the views were amazing with so many walks on our doorstep. 6 adults stayed here during the Christmas break and it was plenty big enough for us all. Keswick is a beautiful drive through the valley and takes about 20 minutes to get there however there is a bust right outside whichRead more leaves every hour to take you in there. Hide
