We had a wonderful 5 days at Montagues Barn. We loved the cottage. It was a real home from home and we lacked nothing to make our stay extremes comfortable. It is ideally situated to explore the delights of Northumberland. We would love to return.

Well fitted out and excellent location. All bedrooms had en-suite which was great as there were 6 of us staying, no sharing. Very nice welcome pack and good parking for 2 cars. Fields nearby for exercising our dogs. Made our holiday complete.

This was a lovely house where four of us spent a week over the new year and our two spaniels . Located around 20 minutes drive from the beautiful Northumberland coastline which is super dog friendly all year round. Close to Alnwick too. Very nice quiet place. The house had everything we needed, three bedrooms all en suite and a very well equipped kRead moreitchen, including an extra fridge that was useful for drinks. Handy extra downstairs loo too and a sofa and tv in the kitchen so guests can chat with the cook! It was a lovely touch that the cottage was decorated for Christmas too. All in all, a great house and we will definitely return. Hide

We had a really good holiday at this property. It was in an excellent location, ideal for getting to many places. It was very quiet and peaceful in the complex of properties. The owner was very helpful with a query we had which helped us get the best from the property. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and crockery. The only thing I would Read morecomment on was that there were no small glasses. We would definitely return to this property and recommend it. Hide
