This picturesque three-bedroom cottage with an enclosed wall garden and period features, including stone walls and an Aga cooker, is located in a rural village just half a mile from a lovely dog-friendly beach which you can walk to from the cottage. There are a range of other wonderful wag-tastic walks from the doorstep, as well as attractions and beaches to explore within a short distance.

This pretty thatched cottage is accessed via a quiet no-through lane and is a lovely setting for an evening in by the wood burner efect gas fire as your canine companion sleeps off the day’s frolics. Prepare a meal on the Aga and enjoy it outside in the charming walled garden with patio and furniture. The three bedrooms upstairs are all charming, one has a TV and the bathroom is also upstairs.

This gorgeous property is in the pretty rural village of Burton Bradstock, a few hundred metres from shops, a 14th-century church and a charming, dog-friendly pub. It’s also half a mile from the dog-friendly Hive Beach where you can join the Jurassic Coast path and enjoy sweeping views along the Dorset coast with its dramatic cliff faces. Within a 10-mile radius are dozens of gorgeous chocolate-box Dorset villages surrounded by the gentle rolling landscape of Dorset, and you’re just 3 miles from the lively, attractive town of Bridport and West Bay beach, where you can walk along the Jurassic Coast pathway with your canine companion alongside the cliffs made famous by the TV series ‘Broadchurch’. A little further afield 12 miles away is the pretty, historic town of Lyme Regis and its dog-friendly beaches – they are location half a mile north-west of the main town.

Lovely cottage, well equipped and ideal location for our multi generational holiday. Fantastic shower, beautiful garden with both shady and sunny spots. Parking was not a problem, one car opposite and one up the lane.

The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Its in a very beautiful location within easy walking distance of the spectacular Hive Beach. A perfect holiday!

A delightful comfortable and characterful cottage with a lovely garden in a stunning village, Clapper Bridge Cottage is perfect for a relaxing holiday and an easy walk across fields to Hive beach, where there is an excellent beach cafe. It has a well equipped kitchen with welcome large fridge/freezer to keep catering simple, and lots of books/DVDs/Read moretoys for quieter times in the spacious and comfortable lounge.. The cottage is beautifully presented and tastefully furnished, good sized bedrooms and comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped and the sitting room also comfortable. The garden is lovely, some shady spots and some sun traps. It is in a great location, lovely walks from the cottage will take you around the village, to the cliffs and Hive beacRead moreh. 2 pubs and the Hive beach cafe all in easy walking distance. Really wonderful cottage. Enjoyed trying out the Aga but it was all guess work for me. Tried to get a table and the pub on Sunday and Friday but it is book out 3-4 weeks in advance so if you are planning in advance I would call and reserve. It feels as if it is one of the best pubs in the area and the menu was more than just pub grub. Parking wasntRead more that big an issue. Walking our Dog was really easy with a short walk around a field or a bit longer round past the beach. Hide
