Just back from a lovely long weekend, 6 adults, 2 young children and 3 dogs. Lots of room for everyone! A real home from home. The kitchen is one of the best equipped we've ever stayed in! Lots to do nearby, Carsington Water is great for walks with toddlers and dogs. Tissington trail is very near too. Would definitely return.

Really enjoyed our stay at Whitebeam Cottage. Decorated and furnished to a high standard with a full enclosed garden which was great for the dog. The only issue we had was that there is absolutely no phone signal in the village at all. I asked at the local pub how they managed and was told to use WIFI calling on our phones. This worked perfectly buRead moret it would have been really helpful if we had known in advance and that this was included in the information book at the cottage. Highly recommend Ye Old Gate Inn for food. Hide

A lovely property which ticked all our boxes and we would definitely like to return in better weather. It is rare that we have found a property where the main bedroom can be a good size twin and en-suite.

This was a lovely cottage which we shared with friend it was very comfortable and in a lovely village with great views of the countryside. It was also easy to drive to Bakewell and Matlock. The village pub did nice food and was only a short walk from the cottage. I would recommend it if you had a family or friends get together.

The cottage is lovely and in a beautiful location. All the beds apart from one were very comfortable. Lots of space downstairs but room for improvement. We had to live with all our stuff out downstairs as there were no cupboards space to put anything, games room was dirty and had to clean it ourselves. The chairs and sofa in the lounge were not thaRead moret comfortable and we spent most of our time in there. ideal for a weekend away but not a whole Hide
