The property’s contemporary feel welcomes large groups and up to two happy hounds; enjoy a lie-in with four elegant king-size bedrooms and a twin to choose from. After enjoying Bakewell’s famous pudding, there are a variety of other delights waiting for you and your four-legged friends to sniff out! This is a lovely, characterful property. We visited in Feb but it was still cosy with heating and log fire which is much needed as it isn't double glazed. The garden is well enclosed for dogs/children. The living area is a bit snug for 10 people but generally specious elsewhere. 2 fridges and range cooker in well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms are veryRead more spacious with good quality mattresses and bedding etc. Showers have a good level of power and plenty of hot water available at all times. Hide

On our first morning we had no hot water. Karen who looks after the property, although on holiday, was very quick to reply and the owner Rob couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you. The property is a beautiful home, extremely clean, is equipped with everything and the location is great. We will be back.

Nice house, comfortable beds, quick walk into the centre which is good because parking in Bakewell is very difficult. Town centre and shops are very dog friendly, which is great.

We've just got back from the loveliest stay at Fox House! This was our first time in Bakewell and the house is in the perfect location. The house was super clean and very spacious for four adults, two kids and one dog. We'd 100% book Fox House again if we came back to Bakewell!

This is a really lovely house and is perfect for family or group holidays. It is very tastefully appointed and suited our party of 5 women very well. It's location is perfect for a stroll in to town and there is plenty to do and see in the local area. The only slight concern is the drive which is not big enough for 3 family sized cars. A lovely property in easy reach of the town but dogs are only welcome on the ground floor. The off road parking is only suitable for 2 family cars but there is limited on road parking for a third car, although the road was busier than expected.
