Give you and your pup a new leash of life and book a stay at this unique glamping escape. Set in tranquil south-east Cornwall, it has a chic interior with stunning sea views, plus outside space for your mutt to play as you stretch out in the double hammock.
The curvy, timber-clad lodge boasts a row of arched windows which make the most of its gorgeous views. Step inside, your hound at your side, to find a light-filled space, in which areas for cooking, dining, lounging and sleeping flow seamlessly from one to the other. With no TV or digital distractions, it’s the perfect place for unwinding from modern life, with books and board games provided for entertainment. At the far end of the lodge, there’s a four-seater dining table, which can be converted into a king-size bed, while in the centre is a sofa (also a double sofa bed) placed to maximise the incredible vistas from the lodge’s elevated position. The adjacent cooking area offers a hob, microwave and fridge/freezer to help you prepare simple meals. When you’re ready for bed, say goodnight to your furry friend and climb into the sleeping nook, which boasts a wall-to-wall king-size mattress. Finally, there’s a refreshing, en-suite shower room. Outside, a private deck offers the chance to enjoy breathtaking sunsets, with a double hammock, fire pit and dining area. Private parking for one car ensures convenience.
Located in a boutique glamping retreat with just seven properties, the lodge is just 4 miles from the seaside town of Looe, and 5 miles from Hannafore Beach, popular with dog walkers all year round. Heading inland, there’s a fabulous walk through woodland at Golitha Falls, 10.5 miles away, while from Minions, 11 miles away, you can follow a circular trail that includes the ancient Hurler’s stone circles.
