Discover an exciting array of fabulous dog walking routes when you stay at this exquisite cottage on Bodmin Moor. Sleeping just two guests, the gorgeous, one-bedroom hideaway makes a fantastic, romantic retreat for couples wishing to bring their pet to Cornwall. Sitting on the village green at Blisland, it is 8.5 miles from Wadebridge, where you and your waggy-tailed chum can follow the Camel Trail, and 10.5 miles from Port Isaac, where you can pick up a section of the South West Coast Path.

Step into the stone cottage with your eager hound close behind. Enter to find a lovely, light-filled lounge, where you can light a roaring fire in the wood burner and your four-legged friend can flop down on the rug. Find a film on the Smart TV then settle back into the comfortable sofa, giving soft ears a quick rub along the way. Enjoy the sense of space in this room, which has a high vaulted ceiling and mezzanine level above. The kitchen/diner is a friendly room, where you can feed your hungry hound and prepare romantic dinners for the two of you on those occasions you choose not to dine out. Bid your pup goodnight here then climb the wooden, spiral staircase up to your mezzanine bedroom, with its king-size bed. The shower room is at ground-floor level. There is no garden at this cottage but you can take your chum out to explore the village green with you as often as he wishes. There is off-street parking with this holiday home.

Head to magical Tintagel, 12 miles away on the coast, where you and your four-legged friend can explore the castle that features in the legends of King Arthur. Taking care on the steps and cliffs, you can also walk down to the beach here.

Nice little cottage and the upstairs spacious for a one bedroomed cottage. Handy having an ensuite toilet upstairs in addition to a downstairs toilet and shower room. No windows or skylight upstairs so very hot in warm weather but we took a fan and kept us cooler. We booked one day before the holiday start date as saw the weather was forecast to beRead more beautiful, and indeed it was..! Blisland is a lovely little village and very welcoming. The Blisland Inn, literally about 30 steps away was very welcoming. Nice Cornish beers and very friendly staff and customers. Hide

Lovely quirky cottage in a lovely village. Everything you require in the cottage for a comfortable enjoyable stay. A lovely quirky cottage in a perfect location ( for the Blisland Inn ) to travel about North Cornwall. The cottage was clean and comfortable and well equipped. I kept finding items of quirkiness nearly every day, loved all the pictures, it gave the place a homeliness that some cottages lack. The inside porch was very useful to have to store coats aRead morend dog paraphernalia and separate the cold from outside and the warmth inside. Comfortable bed at the end of every busy day, a day finished with a night cap at the dog friendly Blisland Inn. We will be booking again soon as we enjoyed our stay very much. Hide

The cottage is very cosy and quaint, except the en-suite upstairs which was freezing. Also the bathroom downstairs was very cold even with towel heater on. A quirky and quaint cottage in a busy village. Just note that there are small roads on 2 side of the cottage. They can be busy and parking can be hard to find when the pub is busy. Location is great for getting to National Trust properties and other locations. In warmer weather, take fans for upstairs at night time. The local people are very chattyRead more and friendly. Sometimes events on in the church. We didn't visit the pub, opposite, but it is very popular in the area! Hide
