The spacious farmhouse kitchen/diner offers everything you’ll need to enjoy homecooked meals during your stay. Next door, the cosy lounge comes complete with wood burner, so you can snuggle up with your pups during the colder months. Upstairs, you will find two attractive bedrooms, one featuring a freestanding bath. On the ground floor you will find a bathroom boasting a luxurious roll-top bath. Outside, you can make the most of a pretty patio area complete with BBQ, furniture and an enclosed lawn, ideal for dogs.

From the cottage, guests can explore the surrounding fields as well as enjoying easy access to the River Thames pathway, home to several tearooms. Burford is just 5.5 miles from the cottage, offering a selection of welcoming eateries and shops. For a family day out, travel 3.5 miles to Cotswold Wildlife Park, or for dog-friendly days out, venture 24 miles to Broadway Tower or 42 miles to reach Tewkesbury Abbey. The town of Tetbury sits 29.5 miles from the property, with Cheltenham 28 miles and Gloucester 34.5 miles away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bedwell Cottage. It is equipped with everything you could need and is decorated beautifully. It feels very homely and the welcome gift of wine, milk and crumpets were very much appreciated. The garden was perfect for our dog, fully enclosed and safe which is very important to us. Thank you for a lovely comfortable stay; for the welcome wine, milk, tea. & coffee. The beds & bedding are luxuriously comfortable with a choice of pillows. Dog walking is v convenient & goes on forever.

Lovely homely cottage for a few days. Dog safe little garden on a quiet road with walks and fields close by. Great for plane enthusiasts as RAF Brize Norton is just up the road and the planes were flying very low overhead. Would definitely recommend and would return if visiting the area again.

Beautiful cottage in a great location for visiting the Cotswolds. The small village of Kencot is very pretty. All the highlights of the Cotswolds are nearby. The cottage is very well equipped for cooking / relaxing etc. To find the cottage, use the address for Meadow Cottage, Asthall Farm in Kencot and there is a red sign beside the road for BedweRead morell Cottage - it doesn't come up on Google Maps by itself. We were visiting the Cotswolds for my birthday as I wanted to visit The Farmers Dog pub. The cottage was perfect, its in a great location a short drive from so many attractions and some lovely walks close by. We had a lovely time relaxing in this wonderful, quirky gem of a cottage. So peaceful and full of things to spot. Set in beautiful surroundings and ideal for dogs. Well stocked with just about every utensil available, plenty of storage and that added splash of luxury with the bath in the bedroom. Utterly charming in every way.

Bedwell cottage was just how the description described it. It was welcoming, comfortable, and homely and we felt very relaxed. It was perfect for us with our dogs, especially the enclosed garden area and very nearby dog walks. A beautiful area too, we loved exploring the local villages and walks as well as visiting the more well known Cotswolds towRead morens and villages. We really enjoyed our stay at Bedwell Cottage thank you. The cottage was beautiful inside and the decoration was lovely with all of the pictures hanging on the walls. The kitchen was great to sit in and chat in the mornings and evenings and it was useful to have the bathroom downstairs. We loved the roll top baths and it was useful to have one in oRead morene of the bedrooms too. This is possibly the best holiday cottage we have stayed in for quirkiness, lovely bedrooms and comfy beds, lots of equipment all of good quality. Ideal location with lots of walks on your doorstep. The shower is located within a roll top bath and is not easy to get into creating a very small showering area contained by shower curtains. There is only a Rayburn and an all in one microwave/oven so no good if you like to use a conventional oven Found the settees very uncomfortable. The cottage was really fun, very restful and really located in a lovely peaceful village. The local pub was very accommodating and even dropped me and my partner back home. The home was clean, tidy and very spacious with lots of space indoors for socialising, cooking and the bedrooms were very comfortable.

We had a peaceful stay in this delightful cottage with its eclectic pictures. The cottage was well equipped so we had everything we needed. Our 3 dogs enjoyed their stay too; they loved the garden and being nosey at whoever might pass by. There was a good sized parking space. We found the location to be convenient; Broadway, Bourton-on-the-Water, SRead moretow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh are all a short drive away and there were shops and takeaways at Lechlade and Carterton. Beautiful and comfy cottage in the countryside, we spent a few nights and despite the weather was horrible we managed to enjoy spending time inside. It is very welcoming and lots of lovely decorations and details add a lot of value, the house was kept warm, has got all needed basics including pots, pan, appliances, hairdryer and more if you like. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, Bedwell cottage ideally situated for to visit places of interest, especially the Cotswolds Wildlife Park, as it is the only zoo in Britain that allows dogs in. The cottage was well situated to explore The Cotswolds and was very in keeping with the location. The garden had the afternoon sun which was nice to sit out and make the most of the day.

The property was good value for money in a good location for exploring the Cotswolds. No nearby pubs or shops in walking distance but villages and shops were only a short drive away. Cottage had all equipment needed including towels & bedding. The owner was very helpful & friendly when we had no hot water (we inadvertently switched off the rayburn Read morecooker that also controlled the hot water). There was off road parking and a small enclosed garden safe for dogs. Overall we enoyed our stay. Hide
