This stylish lodge sits amongst the beautiful Cornish countryside, 5 miles from the seaside town of Looe. Welcoming six guests and three canine companions, the holiday home is perfect for families and friends who love getting out and about in nature. Within the holiday park, you’ll find a children’s play area, a campfire corner, and a dog-walking paddock, and nearby days out include the up-market resort of Fowey (4 miles) and the picture-postcard fishing village of Polperro (5.5 miles).
The lodge enjoys tranquil, leafy vistas and is decorated in natural tones and textures that reflect the surrounding landscape. The main living space is a bright, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Along one wall is a sleek kitchen for preparing hearty feasts for the group, which you can share around the wooden dining table. In the evenings, snuggle up on the sofa with the hounds curled at your feet, to read a book or watch the Smart TV. The lodge has three stylish bedrooms and a shower room with a rainfall shower. Outside, you and the pups will have two enclosed, decked areas with outdoor heaters and furniture. There’s also an outdoor copper bath and an outdoor shower. Guests are welcome to explore the shared, on-site facilities, including a dog-walking paddock and a small shop. In-lodge spa treatments can also be booked throughout your stay. Private parking is available on site.
Journey into Looe to stroll along the quaint, cobbled streets and pop into the cute boutiques and galleries, many of which welcome four-pawed visitors. The town also has some lovely dog-friendly pubs and restaurants. Although Looe’s main beach is a woof-free zone, you’ll find several beaches with no restrictions on the fringes of the town, such as Hannafore and Plaidy. The South West Coast Path passes through Looe, and you and the woofers can enjoy a clifftop hike to nearby Polperro or Seaton.
