A spacious retreat for up to ten humans, this property is full of luxuries and has a huge courtyard where pups can play as you relax in the sunshine. It’s an inviting base for celebratory gatherings, just moments from Warkworth’s castle, shops, restaurants and beach.
Enter through the utility room, where you can store dog food and put beds on the floor. Move into the handsome kitchen, which is equipped with everything you’ll need for gourmet holiday cooking, including a double air fryer. Across the hall, the expansive lounge/diner is a bright space with an impressive vaulted, beamed ceiling. Gather around the large dining table for sociable meals, then settle your pups and snuggle into the cosy seating in front of the eco-friendly, bio-ethanol fire. You might even want to line up a movie marathon on the Smart TV. When you start to feel tired, bid your hounds goodnight and find three bedrooms on the ground floor, along with a shower room and separate WC, and two further bedrooms on the first floor – a king-size with an en-suite, and a super-king-size which has use of a family bathroom. Steps lead down to a large, enclosed courtyard, which provides a delightful spot for outdoor meals. There’s an outside tap and hose – handy for cleaning mucky pups – as well as secure storage for bikes and outdoor kit. Another bonus of this superb property is private parking for five cars.
With your hounds on a lead, you can visit medieval Warkworth Castle and try the dog-friendly pubs and cafes in the village. Walk alongside the river, stroll to the beach for a sandy playtime, or head to Druridge Bay Country Park, 4.5 miles away, for rambles by the lake, in woodland and among sand dunes.
