Stretch furry legs with long hikes through the rolling Quantock Hills, just over 1 mile away, then return to splash in the swimming pool or hot tub or bask beside a roaring wood burner.
Call Fido to accompany you inside via the hallway. Head straight into the generous kitchen/diner, where you can whip up feasts for your chum and the rest of your family or friends. Gather round the table in here or in the superb dining room, before choosing which of the two lounges, both with wood burners and Smart TVs, to while away the rest of the evening in. One of the lounges opens into a light-filled conservatory, with garden and pool views. An office space and a utility room are also downstairs. One of your bedrooms, a super-king-size with an en-suite shower room, is accessed via its own flight of stairs. The remaining five bedrooms, two of which have en-suite shower rooms, are found by climbing the main staircase. These comprise two super-king-sizes, two king-sizes and a twin. The family bathroom is also here. Follow Fido out into the sunny grounds to explore the gardens and play games on the lawn. Swim, soak in the hot tub and dine together on the patio. There is parking here for five cars.
Head out on dog walks from the doorstep or venture 5 miles to the fringes of Exmoor, with its myriad of footpaths and trails. Kilve Beach, 10 miles away, is dog friendly all year round. Here, you and Fido can also stroll out along a section of the scenic South West Coast Path.
