Enjoying a tranquil and secluded spot along the beautiful shores of Loch Ryan, this stunning retreat makes a fantastic holiday home for walkers and wildlife spotters keen to explore the magical Rhins of Galloway. Offering superb accommodation for eight guests, the beautifully updated hideaway also has plenty of space for a couple of four-legged friends to join you in discovering a stunning corner of the Scottish coastline. Surrounded by two acres of peaceful private land, this blissful bolthole boasts a bubbling hot tub, a cosy wood burner, exposed timber beams, a fabulous garden room and private access to the beach.

The elegantly arranged open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner features large windows and French doors offering superb views of the loch, alongside a wood burner, a Smart TV, and comfortable seating. The characterful central dining table is ideally positioned by the beautifully equipped kitchen. Exploring further, the airy garden room has table football, as well as a sofa bed for two additional guests. The cottage offers three restful bedrooms: a king-size room with a free-standing bath facing the sea, an en-suite double, and a twin room with a TV. The accommodation is rounded off with a spacious, elegantly tiled bathroom. Outside, the patio overlooks the loch, offering serene views, with chances to spot sea otters, seals, deer, and the occasional dolphin. Featuring a BBQ, firepit and huge hot tub, the property is surrounded by two acres of land, including an orchard, to explore with your four-legged friends. Parking is available for three cars, and sea kayaks, fishing rods and bodyboards are provided.

The thriving town of Stranraer is to the south (7.5 miles) with a couple of quiet, pet-friendly beaches. The Rhins of Galloway Coast Path winds around the peninsula for over 80 miles, offering a breathtaking trail to follow with your pets.

Absolutely beautiful cottage, clean, well equipped, fabulous location. Brilliant accessories like the kayak, fishing nets for kids etc. loved the coffee machine! Attention to detail was brilliant and a nice welcome gift was really thoughtful. Couldn't fault it

A wonderful stay at this really magical setting. Weve seen otters, deer, a hare and a hawk and all sorts of garden and seabirds. Weve kayaked and hot tubbed, rock pooled, explored, and warmed ourselves in front of the wood burning stove. The house is set up to be a home from home - comfortable and warm with all the mod cons you could want to for reRead morelaxing, cooking and luxuriating. The walks nearby are fascinating and the endlessly changing seascape keeps you entertained. We would thoroughly recommend and have had a truly fantastic stay. Hide

The cottage has everything you need for a secluded family holiday. Welcome basket was a lovely touch. Hot tub was amazing with plenty of wood available. Beach was brilliant for the dogs. A most beautiful location that is very private. Excellent gardens to explore with loads of hidden areas. Beach right at your front door and birds galore, even saw the otter family on one afternoon. Owners were only too happy to be of assistance with a very minor issue we had and promptly fixed the problem. Tastefully decorated with an eclectic mix Read moreof items. What a lovely gem, we had a fantastic week. The cottage itself was cute, really well supplied with everything we needed and delighters such as games, a fabulous welcome hamper and plenty of firewood.
