The single-storey stone cottage boasts an array of characterful original features, such as exposed beams and stonework, and is decorated in delicate pastel shades. Inside, hang up coats and dog leads in the hallway, before heading through to the inviting lounge. Here, you’ll find a cosy wood burner for chilly nights, along with comfortable seating, a Smart TV, and a record player. In one corner is a small dining table – the ideal spot for a morning coffee. The separate kitchen has everything needed for a self-catering holiday and opens onto a conservatory-style dining room. With direct access to the garden, this is a good place to set up the dog bed. The cottage has two attractive bedrooms and a family shower room. Outside, the enclosed garden features a patio area for al fresco dining and a gravel area where the pup can play. Roadside parking is available for one car, with further parking nearby, subject to availability.
You’ll find some lovely walks through the countryside surrounding Lowick, and afterwards you and the hound can refuel in the friendly village pub. Just 7 miles away is the magnificent Goswick Beach, with its vast, sweeping sands offering ample space for off-lead adventures. Nearby doggy days out include the pretty village of Bamburgh (12 miles), where you and the woofer can explore the castle grounds, and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne (8.5 miles) with its spectacular coastal scenery.
