Discover the beauty of the Gower Peninsula, with its picturesque, dog-friendly beaches and exciting footpaths. This three-bedroom cottage, which sleeps six guests and has a courtyard garden, nestles in Mumbles, 4.5 miles from Swansea and on the fringes of the Gower. The village itself has a pet-welcoming beach and pier.

Let yourselves in to find beautifully finished accommodation. Head into the open-plan lounge/diner, with its bay window, to unwind in front of the Smart TV while your pet gets comfortable on the rug. Open French doors to a deck and steps down to the garden on warm summer days. Call your canine companion to accompany you into the kitchen, a step down from the hall. Feed him here, then cook up a treat for everyone else to sit down to in the lounge/diner. Make fresh coffee, then carry it into the sunroom at the back of the cottage, where you and your happy hound can take time out together with more doors to the garden open to bring in a breeze. Settle your chum downstairs for the night, then head up to your own room to rest your weary head. A family bathroom and a twin room are off a half-landing, while two more bedrooms are a few more steps up. One of these is another twin, this time with a Smart TV and beds that can be arranged as a super-king-size if requested in advance. The other bedroom is a super-king-size, with sea views. Spill out into the garden with your delighted dog at every opportunity, taking care on the steps. This property comes with private parking for one car.

Pack a picnic and some puppy treats and venture 7.5 miles to spectacular Three Cliffs Bay. Oxwich Bay, 9 miles away, is also dog friendly all year round.

Lovely house in an excellent location. The house is much larger inside than it looks, and only a short walk to lots of beaches, the seafront and the main shopping streets. Would happily stay again
