Newly built in 2022, this contemporary property spread over three floors offers sumptuous on-trend interiors plus a hot tub and unique garden pod that you’ll go mutts for.

The spacious living room with hues of natural wood reflects the wonderful countryside surrounding it, the perfect spot for you and your wet-nosed pal to unwind together on the leather sofas after a long day exploring the local footpaths. Your pup will love dozing quietly in the study too. The heart of the property is the light and bright kitchen/diner where you enjoy a well-earned meal with the whole family on the contemporary dining set underneath the urban feature light fixture. At the end of the day, the only choice left to make is which of the four bedrooms across the first and second floor will you choose to let sleeping dogs lie. Lead the way back downstairs and throw open the patio doors to the enclosed landscaped garden where your four-pawed pal can sniff around the patio whilst you take a soak in the hot tub or enjoy a unique dining experience in the garden pod and star gaze long into the night.

Nestled at the bottom of a limestone dale in the glorious Hope Valley, the working village of Bradwell is engulfed by some fabulous countryside. High above the village of Castleton, take the lead to explore Peveril Castle (3.5 miles) where your pup will have a ball climbing to the summit of the hill housing the medieval castle ruins. For a long walkies, head to the heather-clad moors of Kinder, Edale and the Dark Peak (7.5 miles) where only the jangle of your top dog’s collar can be heard along your journey. Chatsworth House and Gardens (12 miles) offers a historical 105 acres perfect for little paws to explore.

We had a wonderful stay at Mercia house. The house was very comfortable and very well equipped, even down to throws provided for chilly evenings..nice touch. The house is situated within a short drive of all attractions and also just a short flat walk into the village, where there is a couple of pubs and a co op. We really enjoyed our stay.
