Gather your favourite people and a couple of happy hounds and stay at this coastal getaway in Rock, a stylish village on the Camel Estuary. This spacious four-bedroom home is well suited to large families or groups of friends travelling with dogs, providing plenty of room to relax after busy days exploring. Rock itself has a great selection of shops and pubs (within 500 metres) so it’s easy to stroll out for supplies or a relaxed meal. The coast path (1 mile) also opens up ample opportunities for spectacular walks.

You’ll arrive via the circular driveway, where there’s plenty of parking, before stepping into this welcoming home. The large open-plan living area is perfect for socialising with fellow guests, both human and canine. A bright kitchen and generous dining table make group breakfasts and evening feasts a pleasure, while the lounge area has comfortable seating and a Smart TV for relaxed evenings. Next door, a conservatory provides a peaceful spot to curl up with a book while enjoying views of the garden, while your pet dozes nearby. The first bedroom is on the ground floor – a double with doors opening onto the terrace – along with a convenient shower room. A spiral staircase leads up to the remaining bedrooms in the turret: a king-size room and two twins, one of which can be converted to a king-size on request. A family bathroom completes the layout. Outside, dogs and children can let off steam on the large south-facing lawn and terrace, which come with garden furniture and BBQ for those fresh-air banquets.

In Rock, you can also paddle out on the calm estuary waters (0.5 miles) by kayak or paddleboard, or hop on the ferry across to the foodie harbour town of Padstow (2 miles). A little further away, Polzeath (2 miles) is known for its sweeping sandy beach and excellent surf, with its Greenaway Beach (2.5 miles) dog-friendly all year round. At the Georgian Pencarrow House and Gardens (9 miles), pets will have a lovely time exploring the gardens and woodland trail with you.

The property is located in a quiet location and has many useful facilities, many thoughtful additions to make your stay enjoyable, wi-fi is excellent, EV charging facilities provided, walking down to beach is pleasant and ferry to Padstow regular and reliable, walking from beach to beach is great for your daily routine
