Savour the sights, smells and sounds of Port Isaac with a stay at this 300-year-old stone cottage. Set on one of the fishing village’s prettiest streets, the property is surrounded by cosy tea rooms and pubs that welcome four-legged visitors. This charming hideaway is perfect for multi-generational families keen to sniff out adventure along the North Cornwall coast. After a breezy day at the beach, warm paws by the roaring wood burner or bask in the sheltered garden, which is enclosed to keep your inquisitive canine safe.

Brimming with character, the three-storey cottage blends original stone walls and exposed beams with home comforts and subtle nautical touches. With a comfortable lounge, dining room and galley kitchen, the ground floor has enough space for everyone to relax and enjoy time together. Remember to bring your pup’s favourite toys and bedding to help them settle while you sleep soundly in the bedrooms upstairs. Three are on the first floor, with a further two tucked away on the top floor. Outside, your curious canine can sniff the flowerbeds while you relax on the patio, which has a dining table for eight and a BBQ for al fresco feasts.

Just a few metres from your door, the South West Coast Path is a tail-wagging treat, with miles of breathtaking coastline and golden beaches to explore. Enjoy a gentle half-mile amble to Port Gaverne for a run around on its sand and shingle beach, which welcomes dogs all year. This is a spacious well equipped house in a quiet position in Port Isaac, whilst still being close to all the facilities. The small, very private, enclosed rear garden is a real bonus.

This is a lovely old house and only a 1 minute walk to the Slipway, the pub and the beach. The drive to the car-port next to the house is easy enough once you know the way, if you are a confident and competent driver. Even in August, Port Isaac wasn't overcrowded.

Great location, nice house for the Summer months using garden and BBQ facilities. Parking for second car about 10 mins away and uphill so needs a bit more info. Quirky location and access to beach for a quick swim all very positive. Great seaside holiday. Seagull chick and protective parents also kept us entertained and on our toes.
