This romantic bolthole is set in an animal sanctuary in Northamptonshire and is a peaceful spot for you, your loved one, and two of your four-legged friends while enjoying a walking holiday. An enclosed garden provides a safe space for the dogs to explore while you sit and enjoy a morning coffee, watching the rescue horses.

This light-coloured shepherd’s hut stands out against the woodland behind, and though it is compact, it has everything you need for a pleasant break. As you step inside, you will find the open-plan living space to be bright and airy. A compact kitchen has the handy amenities you need for whipping up quick and easy meals, and a dining area has cushioned seating. The double bed pulls down, converting this space to a cosy spot for sleeping. At the other end of the hut is the shower room with a shower and a WC. Outside, the dogs can safely explore the enclosed patio garden while you dine al fresco on the patio furniture. Beyond the fence are the rescue horses going about their day. Private parking is provided for one car.

Set on the fringes of the town of Raunds, you will find everything you need within easy reach (0.5 miles). Explore the market town’s shops before grabbing a bite to eat or a quick drink in one of the restaurants or dog-friendly pubs.
