This luxurious holiday home enjoys a peaceful setting on a rural farm, 5 miles from the Pembrokeshire coast. Sleeping 14 guests and two canines, it’s ideal for family reunions and special holidays with friends, with a vast kitchen/diner and choice of areas for socialising.
The three-storey farmhouse dates to the late 14th century and is bursting with character, with contemporary decor and design sitting alongside a myriad of period features. On the ground floor sits an inviting lounge with a botanical feature wall, wood burner, L-shaped sofa and a Smart TV. Through in the games room, challenge fellow guests to a game of pool or darts. The farmhouse kitchen has all the equipment needed to cater for a large group plus a banquet-style table and doors to the garden. Rounding off the ground floor is a stylish shower room. Five bedrooms are arranged across the first and second floors: one super-king bedroom, one twin bedroom, and three family rooms with a mix of double, single and king beds. You’ll also find a family bathroom on the first floor, a shower room on the second, and a little reading nook on the first-floor landing, along with a sofa bed to accommodate a further two guests. Outside, Rover and Fido will be in their element in the 1-acre garden, which has a large lawn to charge around on. For the humans, there’s a patio area with furniture for al fresco dining and a bubbling hot tub to sink into after a day of adventure. Private parking is available for five cars.
For shopping and eating out, the vibrant coastal town of Tenby is 5 miles away. The town has many paw-friendly, sandy beaches, along with a fantastic array of independent shops and eateries. Take a boat trip from the iconic harbour, or stride out along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path to neighbouring Saundersfoot. There are some excellent, woof-welcoming attractions in the area, including Heatherton World of Activities, 2 miles.
