Watch happy hounds light up when you arrive at this character Herefordshire retreat. Situated on the edge of the historic market town of Ledbury, this spectacular, dog-friendly abode sleeps 12 adults and 2 children across seven bedrooms, making it ideal for a group break. With a hot tub, enclosed garden and BBQ, your four-pawed pal will be as ecstatic as the rest of your large party.

Pad happily through the front door with your pup and step into the charming library, where tails are bound to wag in delight. This cosy, characterful space, with its antique wood burner, shelves of well-loved books and a piano for cheerful sing-alongs, is the perfect spot for pooches to stretch out and snooze after a long countryside walk. From here, wander through cottage-style doors into the lounge, the heart of this beautiful home, where rustic beams, deep sofas and a glowing Smart TV invite you to curl up together for cosy evenings in. If movie night calls, the playroom with its cinema screen and table football is perfect for the whole pack, while your furry friend keeps a watchful eye. The light and airy kitchen and grand dining room make mealtimes a treat, and dogs included, of course. After a good night’s rest in one of the seven individually designed bedrooms, spill out into the enclosed garden, where you can soak in the hot tub or sizzle up a BBQ while your happy hound explores safely nearby.

Grab the lead and dog treats and head out on walkies at the Wye Valley (8.5 miles) or the Malvern Hills (12.5 miles). Both of these National Landscapes have an excellent range of walking trails and fantastic cycling opportunities. Pooch-friendly shopping and dining can be found in the timber-framed streets of Ledbury (4.5 miles).

Absolutely fabulous cottage for a group of friends! It was incredible, with everything you could need and more. The big garden and hottub was the highlight! Small touches like robes in each room went down a treat too. Great communication from the owners too, thank you!

The house is beautiful and most of the bedrooms are lovely. The suite is just too wonky! The bedroom downstairs is a bit stark with no facilities attached. I felt the little tiny dining area downstairs outside the bedroom could be a shower and toilet, then the room would feel more like a suite.

Ideal space for us, with plenty of rooms to accommodate the different activities. Bedrooms were nicely spaced out across the accommodation to satisfy everyones needs, especially the on-suite options. Kitchen was a good size , enough to house cooks and prep team so plenty of interaction was possible, as well as the much needed thirst quenching, glasRead mores or two of wine. A good time was had by all. Hide
