This wonderful, colourful hideaway sits high above Polzeath Beach on Cornwall’s rugged north coast. Sleeping ten humans and two hounds, the stylish retreat makes the ideal base for family get-togethers and holidays with friends, with vast social spaces and a choice of outdoor areas.

Enter at ground level into a stylish entrance hall for storing shoes and leads. This floor is home to two bright, inviting king bedrooms, both with sliding doors to the patio, a stylish wet room, a family bathroom, and a handy utility room. Head upstairs to discover the magnificent, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with wooden floors, vibrant decor, and a wall of glass windows and doors framing panoramic sea views. Whip up feasts in the sleek kitchen area to share at the breakfast bar or dining table. Afterwards, sink into a comfortable sofa to watch a film on the Smart TV whilst the hounds doze by the roaring wood burner. There’s also a cosy snug on this level and a second utility room, providing space to store dog-walking gear. On the second floor, find two king bedrooms, one with balcony access, plus a super-king bedroom, also with balcony access and en-suite facilities, and a separate shower room. Outside, to the front, there’s a balcony, plus a covered patio terrace and a lovely lawn, which boasts a handy outdoor shower for rinsing off after beach days. To the rear of the property are two more stunning balconies, both with outdoor furniture and fabulous sea views. Private parking is available for five cars.

Enjoy dog walks around Pentire Headland on the South West Coast Path. Polzeath Beach (0.5 miles) welcomes pups all year with some summer restrictions, while other local beaches offer no seasonal restrictions, such as the beautiful Daymer Bay (1.5 miles). From Rock (3 miles), join the ferry to Padstow, boasting a fantastic range of paw-friendly eateries.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay over Christmas. A lovely property which exceeded our expectations! Great location to the beach and facilities! Would like to return in the summer!
