Beautifully restored, this spacious cottage, sitting in a peaceful rural location with lovely countryside views, is perfect for families or friends seeking a restful get-together. The property's location is ideal for exploring the Lake District National Park. Blennerhasset village has footpaths into the surrounding countryside from the town. Nearby Bassenthwaite (8 miles) is a charming village by the lake with low-level lakeside paths and challenging fell climbing up Skiddaw.

A stylish three-storey property in neutral tones boasts a welcoming and superior feel, perfect for a relaxing retreat. Off the entrance hall is the dining room, featuring characterful stone-flagged flooring and a wood burner, making it a charming place for celebratory meals. Steps lead down to the lower-level sunken lounge, offering comfortable seating, a Smart TV, and a cosy wood burner. The kitchen features all the appliances to make meal preparation a breeze, along with a window seat. On the ground floor, you'll find a triple bedroom with a double and single bed and a separate bathroom with a shower. Wonderful stay beautifully renovated cottage in a perfect location We stayed between Christmas and New Year as a family of five, along with our two dogs, and had a fantastic experience. The cottage has been newly renovated and is beautifully presented, offering a spacious and high-quality finish throughout. The living room, which houses the Read morepool table, was both comfortable and welcoming and quickly became the heart of the house. It was a great space for relaxing together after days out. The kitchen was very well equipped and all of the bedrooms were comfortable and thoughtfully furnished. Overall, the property is finished to a very high standard. The location is ideal for exploring the Lake District, with plenty of great walks and attractions nearby. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend this cottage and would happily return. Hide
