An exceptional, dog-friendly stay! We had a wonderful time here. The accommodation was incredibly clean, tidy, and well-thought-out. What we loved: The Space: Homely, comfortable, and packed with all the necessities. Location & Views: Beautiful scenery, easy parking, and the perfect base for exploring. The Garden: Huge hit with the dogs! Read moreGreat Hosts: They were so helpful and immediately blocked a potential escape route in the fence with extra wire so our little dog stayed secure. The info packs made everything seamless. We couldn't recommend this place enough! Hide

We absolutely loved our stay at Roseview Cabin. The week started cold and wet and ended very hot and sunny, so we can confirm it is very warm and cosy in bad weather, but it was fantastic to be able to open up the French doors when it warmed up. The view up the hill to the rear is beautiful, even in the rain, and our dog loved the enclosed gardenRead more. Michelle and Gary live just next door. They welcomed us on arrival and were very responsive during our stay. The area was perfect - only a short drive out of Brecon, but in the middle of the countryside with quiet walks straight from the door. The Pwllgloyw Arms is only about a mile away and we had the best meal out wed had in a long time there. We would definitely recommend Roseview Cabin. Hide

The perfect space for a two/three person get away. Whilst the property is just off the villages main road, the property is set back and a lovely sized secure garden space. There was rarely any traffic to speak of and we spent a lot of time sat out in the garden with our dog, as it was so peaceful and beautiful views. The furniture was all very Read morecomfy, we both had good nights sleep each night and there was plenty of hot water and powerful showers. A great location too, about a 10min drive away from Brecon which had all the necessary shops to top up (Morrisons/Co-op). The hosts, were friendly but in no way intrusive. It was reassuring to have them nearby if any issues had arisen. We would definitely recommend this and would visit again. (If you visit with a reactive dog, just be aware, fields that back on to the garden would have cows visit and they werent concerned about approaching the fence line - not an issue for ours as she was fascinated by them and just would sit and watch !) Rose View Cabin is so well appointed it feels more like a tiny home than a cabin. It has lovely comfortable furniture, and a very comprehensive range of equipment. Even the little extras - Welsh cakes, milk and orange juice and extra treats and towels for four legged friends- super thoughtful and much appreciated. It was a shame due to the poor weaRead morether we didnt get to use the outside furniture, BBQ and chiminea during our 3 night stay, but Brecon in February was always going to be a risky choice. However, it was perfect for a short break away with my disabled partner and high maintenance rescue dog, and the access to the field behind and a short walk up the hill is rewarded with magnificent views of the Beacons themselves. Remember to take the thoughtfully included binoculars up with you! Even stuck inside on a rainy day we were able to watch the red kites flying overhead, and could easily have entertained ourselves during a longer stay with a varied range of DVDs, books and games. One of the most important things for us was to find somewhere cosy and comfortable, yet with a safe and enclosed outdoor space for our dog with the opportunity to be able to run around a bit on his own which was exactly what we got. The fact the garden can be accessed separately to the cabin is an added bonus. All Sheryl well thought out. The hosts were great - there to greet us and say goodbye but without being intrusive in any way, and super accommodating. We would love to stay at Rose View again. Hide

This is a lovely little cottage. Very well equipped and very comfortable. Our dog loved the garden and we all enjoyed access to the fields behind the cottage for daily walks. We just wanted a restful few days away - and thats exactly what we got.
