A lovely cottage in a great area near Carsington Water. I would recommend to a friend but parking is an obvious issue.

Our family had a wonderful time staying in Archstones. Beautifully decorated for Christmas and full of character with very comfy beds. A great location with lots of walking and running round the nearby reservoir and very close to The Miners Arms - my family voted their pies the best they'd ever eaten. Truly a relaxing Christmas break.

Brilliant stay. What an amazing place! Lovely cottage. Very quiet, warm and cozy, well stocked and a lovely location. East access to most of the things we wanted to do and see. Coudn't be happier about where we stayed and what we did on holiday. Great information in the accommodation, good communication from the host before arrival about our trip. Everything felt good, well organised and planned. Only issue we had was no phone signal...which was also a blessing I think :-). We stayed here for a family reunion. We were disappointed to find on arrival the place hadn't been cleaned. The team did arrive half an hour after and cleaned the place whilst we waited outside. We liked the place although it definitely could do with upgrades to the bathrooms and bedding. The shower over the bath sprayed water all over the floor. Really well supported by Emma details of arrival etc , lovely location and lovely cottage , parking we saw was a problem but we managed a car in garage and one outside so was fine in end . The local Pub was great lovely food and service and easy walks. Only advice is the sign for home farm is not easy to see so be vigilant for it.
