Nestled among North Devon’s rolling hills, this characterful countryside cottage is the perfect retreat for couples, families, and their faithful hound. Boasting plenty of original features and surrounded by unspoilt farmland with sweeping rural views, it's a wonderful spot for tail-wagging adventures.

Step inside to find a spacious, well-equipped kitchen/diner, where hearty breakfasts and evening meals come easily. There’s plenty of worktop area and all the essentials for stress-free cooking, while the dining table seats four comfortably. After a day of exploring, settle into the inviting lounge, where a crackling wood burner, soft sofas, and a selection of board games set the tone for cosy nights in. Whether you’re watching a film or simply dozing by the fire with your furry pal at your feet, it’s a space made for unwinding. Upstairs, two peaceful bedrooms await: a king-size room with rural views, and a flexible twin room with a king-size and single bed for families or friends travelling together. The family bathroom sits between them. Outside, the charm continues into the enclosed garden, where your four-pawed friend can safely play while you enjoy a morning coffee or evening drink in the courtyard. A large private lawn stretches out behind the cottage, ideal for fetch and sun-soaked relaxation, while a shared upper garden offers stunning panoramic views. Practical touches include a secure shed for storing sports gear and private parking for two cars.

Exmoor National Park (3 miles) is nearby for long walks through wild moorland and wooded valleys, where your canine companion can sniff around to their heart’s content. For days by the sea, the golden sands of Saunton (15 miles) and Woolacombe (16 miles) promise plenty fun for sandy paws. The village of Braunton (13 miles) has independent shops, cafes, and access to the Braunton Burrows UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
