Wander through the trees and beside the beautiful River Wye with Fido by your side. This delightful two-bedroom cottage, which sleeps four guests, is nestled in leafy Symonds Yat, where it offers access to some fabulous dog walking. The charming abode also shares a lawned area for pups to play on and has its own enclosed courtyard garden.
Step up and into the lovely bolthole which sits within a pretty row of traditional cottages. Hang dog leads and leave walking boots on the stand by the front door, then make yourselves at home in the lovely lounge. Your canine friend can rest his head on the soft rug, while you plump for one of the deep sofas. Have a cup of tea, watch the Smart TV and let your pup doze quietly until dinnertime. The air kitchen/diner is the paw-fect place for feeding your cheerful chum. It also has all you need to help you prepare your own meals, too, with your own ingredients. Dine at the breakfast bar or around the table, with the French doors open on summer days. Bid your contented canine good night and head upstairs for a sumptuous night of sleep. A double bedroom and a king-size bed are up here, together with the family bathroom. Sit out in the sunshine on the bench to the front of the cottage or take your four-pawed pal into your private courtyard garden on fine days, as you dine or sip a glass of wine in the fresh air on balmy evenings. There is private parking for two cars.
Catch the dog-friendly hand-pulled ferry over the river and climb up to the Symonds Yat viewing point with your energetic pal. Hike up to the National Trust’s Kymin, 9 miles away, to take in the spectacular views out across South Wales.
